PBL - Project Based Learning
What is PBL?
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method where students gain knowledge and skills by actively working on real-world projects over an extended period. Instead of traditional lectures or worksheets, students explore complex questions, problems, or challenges and create authentic, meaningful projects to demonstrate their learning.

Key Features of PBL:
✔ Hands-On Learning – Students engage in research, design, and problem-solving.
✔ Real-World Connections – Projects address real-life issues or scenarios.
✔ Collaboration & Creativity – Students work in teams, think critically, and innovate.
✔ Student-Driven – Learners take ownership of their work and make decisions.
✔ Public Presentation – Final projects are often shared with an audience.

PBL is integrated is all core classes
At our school, Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an integral part of every class, enhancing the learning experience across all subject areas. Each day, students collaborate in their PBL teams during homeroom, diving deeper into their projects. Every Tuesday is dedicated to PBL, where students immerse themselves in their projects, following sprint cycles and time-boxing tasks for maximum efficiency. With daily stand-ups, public critiques, and presentations, students hone their 21st-century and project management skills, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
