Meet Our Principal- Mr. Donohoe
Hello Dana Families and Potential Dana Families,

My name is Mr. Donohoe, and I am the proud principal of Dana Middle School and STEAM Magnet. Dana is more than just a school — it’s a family. Since my very first day on campus, I have felt incredibly grateful to be part of a community of educators who are kind, caring, and deeply committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Our STEAM program is truly one of a kind. I am constantly amazed by the creativity, innovation, and critical thinking our students demonstrate through their work. The lessons our STEAM teachers design are meaningful, engaging, and connected to real-world applications. Our students shine in their Project-Based Learning (PBL) experiences, and I’ve had the honor of serving as a judge during PBL Finale Nights — an inspiring reminder of what young minds can achieve. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

This year, we were thrilled to receive national recognition with the 2025 Magnet Schools of America Top Excellence Award – a well-deserved honor that highlights the strength and innovation of our program.
